A long time favorite of Special Operations Personnel, the "banana
knife" measures 9.25" overall, with 5.375" of 154CM blade (emblazoned
with the SureFire and Emerson Knives logos). Opening is easy with the ambidextrous
thumb disk, and once opened the knife is ready for any combat cutting task.
The upswept blade allows for an extra long edge, while the tip has been reinforced
with additional thickness to prevent breakage. Detail work is not a problem
- the back of the tip has been flattened to allow for precision pressure up
close.The Handle is made of G-10 epoxy composite material for a sure grip and
has a deep index finger cutout to prevent slippage under adverse conditions.
Countoured and chamfered, the handle is equally comfortable in the forward or
reverse grip.
