The carbine barrel is covered with an all-steel cover that helps dampen muzzle flip so you can follow through on your shots. Add that to the R11's stippled forearm and palm swell for a sure hold, and the result is pinpoint accuracy.
Since the rifle is built for competition, there are no open sights. The 11mm dovetail grooves are cut into the receiver and make it easy to add a scope.
